Getting There

Arrive at and depart from Launceston Airport, Tasmania.

Arrival:
You will need to arrive to Launceston the day prior to the tour start date Saturday 15 January 2011 as the tour starts first thing, the morning of Sunday 16 January 2011.

Departure:
On the final day of the tour Friday 21 January 2011 you will arrive back to Launceston around 5:30pm. We recommend making plans to stay overnight in the event of unexpected delays on your return to Launceston at the end of the tour.

Transfers are available between the airport and Launceston town.

Launceston:
The Airporter Shuttle Bus Service operates from the Launceston Airport to the Launceston CBD and surrounding regions.  Price to/from Launceston Airport to city is single fare $14 or double fare $24 - Contact (03) 6343 6677 for reservations and enquiries (prices are subject to change).

You do not need to book the transfer for arrival transfers. When arriving, turn right outside terminal and walk past the taxis and this is where the bus leaves from. If the bus is not there they will be on their way back and you can ring the company and ask the about the status.

To return from hotel to airport you will need to book as it's a door to door service.
