Our Holidays for Singles are geared for the single or solo traveller. Generally our trips appeal to persons who are single (without partners) but we also welcome travellers, who although they may have a partner, prefer to travel solo (maybe their partner has different travel preferences or their partner prefers not to travel at all).

Our trips are about the spirit of 'going solo'. When you book one of our holidays you are guaranteed an instant group of fellow solo travellers. Feel free also, to bring a friend along.

Are our holidays exclusively single or solo travellers?
Many of our holidays are exclusively for single/solo travellers, when the holiday is exclusively reserved for the arendezvous travel & leisure community.

Also, in some instances, we take an allotment of places for our arendezvous travel & leisure community within a larger group who may or may not be single/solo travellers. We will advise this on the holiday website (usually on the itinerary page). In these cases, there will be travellers from other channels booked on the departure and they may be single, partnered or otherwise travelling as friends. For these holidays, our community makes up a portion of the group. Whomever the travellers, everyone in the group will have the holiday spirit.

We do not propose that our trips are intended for meeting a new partner and we are not a dating agency or 'match-making' site. Even though we know of people that have found new partners on our trips, this would be an occasional outcome. Our trips are about the spirit of 'going solo' while enjoying a destination with a group of other solo and social travellers.

Holidays are offered to destinations around Australia and across the globe and are age-matched.

Age-matching
For each of our holidays we suggest an age range. By offering an age range for each holiday we believe it's more likely to bring together a group of like-minded travellers. On a request basis, we will consider persons outside the age range of the holiday. As a guide, this is generally when the person is within two years outside the age range however other exceptions may be made pending each individual circumstance.

Operating since 1998, Mari-Mar Walton, the principal at Travelling Fit has been involved in the international travel industry for 20 years.  As well as being an experienced international travel consultant, she has managed the travel section for an international finance organisation; been responsible for the management of the Air Fares Coordination team at one of Australia's largest ticketing consolidators and has been an active director of a corporate Travel agency.
