Begin in Los Angeles with sightseeing of the city highlights, then travel across the Mohave Desert to Lake Havasu on the Colorado River. You will continue north-east through desert landscapes on the historic Route 66 and onto the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Drive along the rim and continue to Lake Powell for an afternoon cruise. Next, marvel at the geologic wonders of Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park, before arriving in Las Vegas, where you'll enjoy an orientation tour and a full day at leisure. You will journey across the desert landscape to cross into California. Then overnight in Fresno and next travel to Yosemite National Park and on to the Californian wine country. In San Francisco, enjoy two overnights including a sightseeing tour.
